Und so ringen denn die Urelemente hier noch immer miteinander – was dieses eigenwillige Stück Erde so faszinierend macht. Natürlich hat die Landschaft dafür gesorgt, dass nicht nur die reiche Saga-Tradition, sondern auch die Literatur über die Insel im hohen Norden die Regale füllt. We have two Provincial Nature Reserves and multiple conservation areas on the island, each teaming with birds and rare species. The island, surrounded by Lake Erie offers great swimming, fishing and boating.

Lost and found is located at the Lobby Information Desk. Strollers may be used throughout the Museum. A small stroller parking site is available on the first floor on a first come, first serve basis. Strollers may also be left in the coatroom. Valuables should not be left in unattended strollers. Galleries may be closed during your visit to address these repairs.
